This is a very unique and lovely 1908 Edwardian gold tone elephant and iris belt buckle that is in fantastic condition.

It is hallmarked "Patent 12. 15. 1908" on the back of the buckle.  We are unsure as to the metal content, but it's a pretty brushed and shiny gold tone metal alloy.  We found no makers hallmarks on this piece.

It measures approximately 2 inches in height by 3 inches in width. This piece will fit a standard 1 5/8 inch wide belt. Only ever so slight signs of age that can easily be viewed in our high resolution photos.
